Oppose HB 28 & SB 3
Posted by Anastasia Wilford · April 03, 2025
On Monday, April 7 at 8:00 am the House State Affairs Committee will be hearing two bills—SB 3 and HB 28—that would impose sweeping new restrictions on legal hemp products, threaten small businesses, and criminalize peaceful individuals for voluntary choices. SB 3 has already passed through the Senate, so we need to come together to make our voices heard to try to stop these bills from getting out of the House Committee.
This is big government overreach—plain and simple. It violates the principles of self-ownership, free markets, and personal responsibility that we fight for every day.
📣 Use the "Edit and Send Email" button on this page to contact the House State Affairs Committee and tell them to REJECT SB 3 and HB 28.
Texans deserve freedom—not felony charges—for making peaceful, personal choices. Let’s stand up for liberty, and leave peaceful people alone.
If you are a constituent of the members of the House State Affairs Committee, we as you to contact your representative and tell them you're a constituent who wants them to oppose HB 28 & SB 3.
